Bodies of water and rock in the northern reaches of Ontario are great. Getting away from the artificial madness of the city, even if its for a short 48 hour excursion, are best spent within these blissful retreats. Its a rare moment that I ever film at the cottage, but I had a camera, so what the hell. Drink a beer. Do something funny.

Oh so warm. Ahhhh. 2008 was a good year for me. Somehow I managed to work as little as humanly possible, skate almost everyday, drink every night, and wake up feeling pretty damn good. Thats a perfect year by this kids standards. Anyway we filmed alot last year, but most of that footage ended up in “Are You Filming This?”, which you can check out in the skate section. Montages. As fun to make as they are to watch. Bang. Bang.

Here. It is. This was my first attempt at a “real” skate video. Not to say that we were going for strictly bangers and mash, but just loosely trying to follow the whole “parts” and “friends section” elements of typical skate video editing. All in all it ended up being pretty decent, and did what I wanted it to do – make skateboarding look fun. So kick back and watch some older footage, and then go peep the new video under the skate section. Are you filming this?. Enjoy.

Ahhh the good old days. A couple years ago, Blake and I threw together a sketchy 
little mini ramp, which actually ended up being pretty damn fun. After a few too many drink spills on it, a small rodent infestation, and an unsanitary pee bucket became an issue, the joyous creation was destroyed, only to live on in another place and time. Again.

Right off the bat we have to give huge shout outs to the entire EY crew for getting this thing built! It made no sense to anyone why there was no skatepark in the east end of the city, and these guy’s got off their asses and did something. So a huge thank you once again. The park turned out pretty sick aside from some minor imperfections, and the people who inhabit it all summer long are cool as hell. Swing by sometime and check it out for yourself.
